If you have a 6 or 8 core CPU you will have to disable all of your cores except 3 so that you are running on 3 cores. If you have a 2 or 3 core CPU and not a 4 core CPU and are having sound stuttering issues, I suggest disabling a core just to try and see if it helps you, but I'm not guaranteeing any positive results. I'm pretty positive this fix will work for nVidia users as well though. Both are quadcore CPUs, the fix works on both systems, but both systems are on AMD video hardware. *disclaimer* This fix has been tested on a Core2Quad machine and a Phenom II X4 machine. Under the Set Affinity tab, uncheck the box next to CPU3. Right click the process and click Set Affinity. On the Processes tab scroll down unitl you see NBA2k15.exe. Once the game loads up, alt tab out and hit Ctrl+Shift+ESC to pop up your windows task manager. Run the game with your soundcard enabled and everything like normal. Your game runs without stuttering, but you can't hear anything including your friends in voice chat or music! Hurray! Err. Yeah that's right, disable your entire sound card by right clicking the windows volume icon, clicking playback devices, and right clicking your sound hardware and click Disable.Ĭongratulations.
